Council Member Siri Pulipati was elected to the Rancho Cordova City Council in November 2020.
Siri is a mother, an engineer, and a community volunteer. As a 19-year resident of Rancho Cordova, she has spent time mentoring students in our schools in the area of Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM). In 2019-2020, Siri also participated in and graduated from the year-long Leadership Rancho Cordova program.
Siri’s background is in engineering, but she has also been a top-producing realtor and has taught in the graduate program at California State University, Sacramento (CSUS)
Siri works for one of the top fortune 500 companies in the country where she has held various leadership positions. She was not only responsible for creating a productive and collaborative environment within the organization but also managed the budget for her team.
Siri grew up in India and came to the United States to attend graduate school at CSUS, where she earned a Master’s Degree in electrical engineering. She is the first woman of color and the first Indian American to serve on the Rancho Cordova City Council.
Siri is a mother of two young children. She is passionate about education and public safety to ensure kids have a safe and fun environment in which to grow and learn. She also supports economic development and attracting more well-paying job opportunities for residents and for the region. .
As your Elected Representative, She will listen to you. She will help identify the growing needs of the community and work in partnership with the department to ensure they are met in a fiscally responsible way
