Economic Development

More Jobs: Bringing healthy jobs and sustainable economic development to the city of Rancho Cordova. Ensuring access to high quality jobs is a critical responsibility of the City and all elected officials. The Council can do a great deal to promote good jobs through their own procurement and contracting policies, but could also create incentives and programs to help employers who have commitments to provide good jobs with benefits as well as promotion and training opportunities.
More Housing: we are a growing community and need more options-work here, stay here. I will work to increase our affordable housing by working out new ideas with our city design guidelines and making appropriate publicly held vacant land available to nonprofit affordable housing developers
More Recreation: shopping and dining options. I will work with those businesses to tear down barriers so they can succeed.
